About me

I found myself completely unprepared for the changes menopause brought. I felt like a stranger in my own body. I did not recognize this woman who was either angry or sad but rarely happy. Why was I gaining weight even though I ate and moved the same way I did in my 40s? How was I supposed to function when I woke up multiple times a night drenched in sweat?

What made it harder was the lack of guidance. I was told to “accept it,” or “it’s just a part of life”. While medical treatments helped, they only addressed part of the picture. I decided to learn everything I could about menopause and discovered how lifestyle habits play a crucial role in managing symptoms (something no one had told me about). And I’m not the only one! Research shows that women spend rougly € 2000 a year on products to manage menopause symptoms - most of which have no proven effect…

This journey led me to become certified in evidence-based Menopause Coaching, focusing on nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep. I turned my own life around by choosing nourishing foods rich in protein and fiber, incorporating gentle strength training, moving more overall, and developing strategies to handle stress.

Changing habits wasn’t easy—my energy was low, and at times it felt overwhelming. With a background in psychology, I delved deep into what it takes to make lasting changes and how small steps add up to big results.

Though I feel better now than ever before, I remain committed to living a vibrant, healthy life. Menopause and aging bring increased risks for health conditions once kept at bay by estrogen—but I’m also a lover of good food and will never suggest eating a sad salad leaf!

If you’re struggling through menopause, I’d love to help you transform your experience and regain your vitality.
